Due to the demand for special subjects in postcards, we have produce sets
of one subject as a full set or
collection. These are sold only as a complete set & no lists are available
as to their contents. However each set
covers as many Regiments as possible and are a very good way of obtaining
such postcards of one subjects
& at a competitive price comparied with the cost of the original postcards.
Drumhorses are very much an unpublished subject. This set of 34 postcards
are the only ones available at the present time to the collector. Each
Cavalry Regiment has at least one card, 15th Hussars & 21st Lancers
having two cards each. The Royal Artillery have also been included. This
series of illustrations were originally published in the 1890's have been
the only study to cover all the Regiments in one set at the same time. The
illustrations have very good detail of Regimental devices. Cost for 34 cards

This set of Postcards have been taken from original modern paintings.
There are 35 Postcards in the set
which covers Scottish Highland & lowland Regular, Volunteers. Royal Scots
Greys, Scottish Yeomenry. Irish
Regiments, Royal Tank Regiment, R.A.F.,who wore the tartan. Also Regiments
in the USA, Canada,Oman.
This is a very unusual set of high quality colour Postcards. Cost of 35

publication to give a short history of ever Regiment at that time from its
raising. Part 3 covers again for the first time Regiments of the Colonial

They are some of the best illustrations ever produced of the uniforms of the
British Army by the "Master" illustrator of his time R.Caton Woodville. Cost

Illustrated by Major Eaton-Atkinson from his original watercolour
paintings. These paintings show mainly the Indian Cavalry They all have
highly detailed & complex uniforms of the Indian Army. Each card is high
colour some with a detailed background.
The set has 34 cards in it. Cost £ 26.40. The weight of 36 postcards is
